Signature d'un protocole d'accord entre l'Université Technologique Bel Campus de Kinshasa, l'Université d'Etat de Caroline du Nord de Greensboro NCA&T, et l'Institut  du Leadership et Management, une branche de la chambre de commerce USA AFrique de Raleigh, NC

Kinhasa, 15/02/2010 

L'Université technologique Bel Campus (UTBC ) et L'université d'agriculture et de technologie de l'Etat de Caroline du Nord aux USA ( NCAT& T ) ainsi que l'Institut du leadership , une branche de la chambre de commerce USA- Afrique  ont signe  Samedi a l'UTBC , dans la commune de Limete à Kinshasa, un protocole d'accord permettant  l'appui à cette université congolaise privée, en présence du ministre tutelle Leonard Mashako Mamba .

Cet événement est une première américaine en Afrique Centrale dans le Secteur de l'Education et de la Formation  Scientifique.

Aux termes de ce protocole d'accord, les parties se sont engagées aux échanges interuniversitaires des professeurs et des étudiants, à la promotion des cours par enseignement à distance, et aux séminaires dans diverses disciplines et de formations professionnelles  répondant à la demande sociale et des entreprises sont prévus

Le ministre de l'ESU avait reçu auparavant en audience, dans son cabinet de travail la délégation américaine et le comite de gestion de l'UTBC

Memorandum of Understanding

North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, the USA Africa Chamber of Commerce and Bel Campus University of Technology , DRC www.belcampus.org

On Saturday, February 13, 2010 Dr. Benjamin Uwakweh, Dean of the School of Technology at the NC AT & T University, Dr. John Kitoko , Chairman & President of the USA Africa Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Leopold Bossekota W'Atshia, Founder and President of Bel Campus University of Technology, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo – DRC. This MOU served as a facilitating document toward establishing a cross continental alliance in adult and tertiary education between the three institutions. This education alliance, the first of its kind in Central Africa, seeks to implement the leadership and professional development program to train thousands of Congolese professional as well as the public, private, and non governmental organizations; and enhance and expand the information Technology in the Congo through a combined degree program with Bel Campus University and NCAT &T which includes faculty and student exchanges, research and technology development.

The USA delegation included. Dr. Ben Uwakweh, Dr. John Kitoko , Dr. Forrest Toms, Associate Professor, Leadership Program / NCAT & T, and Dr. Calvin Ellison, Second Vice Chair of the Board of Advisors at the USAAfrica Chamber of Commerce.

Son Excellency Leonard Ma Shako, Congolese Minister of Education was in attendance along with other governmental officials, ambassadors, corporate leaders, faculty and study body.
